Safety and control over your location

Rumbo is designed for an iPhone you own or are authorized to test. Setup requires visible Trust and permissions. Restore Location remains available even if an operation fails or your access changes.

Permissions and security limits

Rumbo does not unlock phones or bypass MDM, Activation Lock, Trust or Developer Mode. It never asks for your Apple ID or passcode on the website or in Setup. Apple explains that Developer Mode exposes additional capabilities and must be enabled knowingly. Use a computer you trust.

Data used

Saved places, recent places and preferences stay on the iPhone. Apple provides maps and purchases. If you choose rewarded ads, Google’s SDK processes the relevant data. A road-route request sends the needed route points to the routing provider. Read the privacy policy for details and options.

Restore responsibly

Tap Restore Location, wait for confirmation and open Maps to observe your real GPS position returning. Accuracy may improve gradually. If the clear is not confirmed, Rumbo keeps a potentially active state and the retry action. The app cannot verify Find My.

Appropriate use

Use Rumbo for testing, demonstrations and exploration with consent. It is not intended to falsify attendance, evade controls, harm anyone or violate another service’s rules.
