Can you change an iPhone location without jailbreak?

Yes. iOS provides developer location simulation. Rumbo uses it on an authorized iPhone after initial preparation; it does not modify iOS or bypass its security controls.

Why no jailbreak is needed

The location request goes through the iPhone developer services. Apple documents simulated locations for testing. Rumbo uses that path without installing a modified operating system. No jailbreak does not mean no permissions: the iPhone must be unlocked, trust the computer and enable Developer Mode when required.

What Developer Mode means

Apple warns that Developer Mode exposes development capabilities and reduces some protections. Enable it only on a phone you own or are authorized to use, and turn it off when you no longer need it. Confirm prompts and enter your passcode only on the iPhone; Rumbo never asks for the passcode on the website or computer.

Connection and continuity

Initial preparation needs a USB data cable and Rumbo Setup for Mac or Windows. After it succeeds, daily controls are on the iPhone. A restart, iOS update or signing change may require preparation again, so a computer may be needed later.

Verification and limits

Check the observed position in Maps and use Restore Location when finished. A command acknowledgement does not prove the result in every app: Find My, social apps and games may cache, combine or reject simulated locations. Follow their terms and do not use Rumbo to mislead anyone.
